We met in Durham, NC in April 2023. Kevin was working at the Duke Hospital where Emma was completing her master's degree. At this time, neither of us knew we were meeting our future spouse. Emma had initially planned to move back to Maine after graduation. However, our first date, highlighted by a classic North Carolinian downpour, led us to a second. Soon, we were sharing endless stories and laughs over fun meals in Durham, growing inevitably closer together and deeper in our shared faith in Christ. Emma ultimately made the leap of faith, and decided to stay in Durham. And the rest was history!
