McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville, TN is the closest airport! It is about 45 minutes from our venue in Sevierville, TN.

We plan to get into the area on Monday, June 16th and will be there all week leading up to our wedding! We chose to have a destination wedding with the excitement of making extra memories beyond our wedding day. Feel free to join us for a week of fun in the Great Smoky Mountains! Think of it as an opportunity for a family vacation with a wedding mixed in ;)

To start, we want to express our sincere gratitude for everyone willing to make the trip to Tennessee for our wedding! We recognize that it's a big ask, and we are so thankful for you all.

Your travel plans are of course totally up to you, but we are here to provide support and suggestions to make planning easier! Suggestions for hotels and rental properties/communities can be found below.

We kindly ask that guests relay their travel plans to the couple prior to booking! We'd love to assist you with personalized recommendations, tips for avoiding fees, and ensuring your lodging is within our wedding radius. After RSVPs are received, a Google form will be sent out to collect travel details. This will facilitate creating a shuttle schedule for the wedding day.

There are SO MANY lodging options, so we're here to narrow it down for ya! Where you stay significantly influences your experience.

Here's some general locations along with factors to consider...

1. Sevierville, TN - closest to the wedding venue, potential for door-to-door pick up for wedding shuttle service, less views/more remote, and a longer distance from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park / vacation attractions. Has a cute downtown area still!

2. Pigeon Forge, TN - this is the most "touristy" area, lots of hotels and tourist attractions (typically a decent amount of traffic). Middle distance between wedding venue and Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Not as many mountain views since it's so populated.

3. Gatlinburg, TN - closest to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and downtown Gatlinburg attractions, beautiful mountain views at majority of lodging locations/cabins, farthest distance from the venue (approx 30-45 mins). Guests would need to drive from their lodging accommodations to a central shuttle pick-up location on the wedding day to be transported to and from the venue. We recommend that you DO NOT stay in downtown Gatlinburg, this is often a traffic nightmare during summer vacation season.
