What is the dress code?

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us for our big day. The dress code is Black Tie optional. Preferred tux or suit for men and gown or cocktail dress for ladies.

CAN I BRING A GUEST/DATE?

If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your formal invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP.

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?

We love your little ones, however this is an adult only event.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE CEREMONY?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30. We recommend arriving by 4:15 at the latest.

WILL THERE BE PARKING AVAILABLE FOR THE CEREMONY AT St. Francis of Assisi?

Yes, there is an attached parking lot to the right of the church on Buttles Ave.

Will there be parking at Ohio Statehouse?

Yes, there is underground parking at the statehouse and vouchers to validate your parking. Parking is of no cost with the voucher. The voucher is good for 24 hours for those wanting to leave their cars overnight. Directions to the Ohio Statehouse: The Ohio Statehouse is located in downtown Columbus on the corner of High and Broad Streets. Parking at the Statehouse The Statehouse offers underground parking with direct sheltered access to the Ohio Statehouse. You can enter the parking garage from Broad, State or Third Streets. Simply pull a ticket and park in any non-reserved spot. You will be able to pick up a voucher (“chaser ticket”) during the cocktail hour and reception to allow you to get out of the lot without payment. It is suggested that you park on the green parking level, but there is additional parking spots on the yellow and blue levels. From the Parking Garage to the Ohio Statehouse: Once you have parked your car please head to the green level of the parking garage. You’ll enter the Statehouse through a set of sliding glass doors near aisle 8, in the middle of the green level, where you will see a sign above the door that reads “Ohio Statehouse.” Note: there are more than one set of sliding glass doors on both sides of the parking garage. Please find the sliding glass doors that say “Ohio Statehouse” above them. Once you enter the sliding glass doors, go to the top of the stairs, where you will begreeted by an Ohio Highway Patrol Officer (you will go through security at this time). Once through security, please follow the directional signage posted behind the Ohio Highway Patrol Officer. From the 3rd Street Entrance to the Ohio Statehouse Once you have entered through the 3rd Street doors go left past the Ohio Highway Patrol desk (you will go through security at this time). There will be two sets of white marble staircases in front of you, please follow directional signage either on or in-between the white marble staircases. You may also ask any Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper for directions.
