Unplugged Ceremony
We kindly request that you embrace the moment with us and put away your phones and cameras during our ceremony. We want to fully immerse ourselves in this special moment, and your presence means the world to us. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones at our wedding unless specifically indicated on your envelope. If you are confused, when you type in your name, you will see if you have a plus one! We want everyone to share in the celebration and ensure that folks will be around the familiar and friendly company. I appreciate your understanding!
Is seating random?
Nope! For the ceremony, sit wherever you please. However, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know (or their plus one or partner). We know weddings are a mixing pot of guests who many not know one another, and we want to ease anxieties for guests who may be a bit more introverted. Hopefully this can put some of you at ease!
Can I bring my kids?
We love your little ones- however, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of children in our immediate family, children traveling with parents, or children in the wedding party. We encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night!
When should I RSVP by?
Kindly RSVP by October 1st at the latest. If you cannot attend, we will miss you and would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. Those that do not RSVP by October 1st, 2024- we are so sorry you cannot make it! If you miss this date, we may be unable to accommodate your presence at the wedding, as we will send final head-counts to vendors shortly after the deadline.
What does the bar look like?
We will be serving an open beer & wine bar for 3 hours. The last call for drinks will be an hour before we plan to have our send-off.
Should I bring a gift to your wedding?
We're thrilled you're joining us to celebrate our wedding in Houston. Your presence means the world to us. Since we're based in St. Louis, transporting gifts from Houston poses some challenges. So, we kindly ask that you consider sending any gifts directly to our home in St. Louis instead of bringing them to the wedding. We've created a wedding registry to make this process easier. Your love and support are everything to us, and we want to make things as convenient as possible for everyone. If you have any questions or need assistance with the registry, please reach out. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
What is the dress code?
We’d love to see our guests in semi-formal outfits for our wedding! For the ladies, cocktail dresses or longer dresses would be perfect. For the gents, a suit or a nice shirt with dress pants and a tie will do. Feel free to add your own flair—just keep it classy and fun. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
