Shaylynn has been my best friend since the 5th grade, and we try our best not to remember the awkward middle school years together. I'm not sure who else I would rather have lived with for 3 years of our college journey. I'm thankful that Shaylynn is willing to share me with Blake, and that Blake understands that he is the third wheel every time Shaylynn and I are together! Consistently, Shaylynn tells Blake that he should thank her (which he does) for teaching me how to live with another person. I'm so honored that Shaylynn has chosen both me and Blake to invest in and care about. I cannot imagine living this life without the support of both of them!
Jonny Snyder - Best Man
Once upon a season of SAE Aero, I met Blake. We were both accepted as apprentices on the team. However, after our first day of introduction, I genuinely thought he was a member of the team. It was like he basically knew everyone and by the time winter build for our prototype plane came around, EVERYONE knew who Blake was. All I remember about when we first started hanging out was when he’d drive a handful of us to the flight tests we had. He’d talked about all sorts of things. From how he was on TV, this video he made for a high school presentation about his life (it was quite… interesting), videos from when he was in the band… oh, and then also his love life. Only then I found out he was actually an apprentice just like me and not a member. But, that’s when the friendship really blossomed. During the spring semester of that season, we’d usually be working on the same assignments and started to work together more. Then, Covid decided to ruin everything in society and we all worked from home. By then, the new season of SAE started, and Blake and I were officially members of- watch out world! That’s when we really started to learn more about each other and how much he hates STAR-CCM - nerdy engineer thing/joke, don’t worry about it. I even sent him a solid version of the coronavirus to test its aerodynamics. It didn’t work. Anyhow, fast forward a few months, we ended up finding a church through another SAE member, Josue. And then one night at a Friendsgiving, Blake and Emma met. There are so many more details before then and from then until college graduation. But, let it be known that Blake definitely misses his Ford Escape and how I spilled Turkey juice all over the floorboard the night he met Emma.
Riley Wagner - Bridesmaid
Riley and I were friends on twitter before ever meeting in real life. We met through Summer Day Camp and had the summer of our lives. Since then, she has not only been my boss (yikes), the one who dyed my hair pink, the one who went with me to spy on Shaylynn's date, and the one who took an impulsive trip to the beach...but she has been a genuine and true friend. I'm so grateful for all of our memories & spontaneous adventures together.
Riley Farrell - Bridesmaid
Riley Farrell is my twin flame. We both share a uniquely creative spirit, and the same birthday! From our (very small) covid “birthday party” to our Taylor Swift soirée, I couldn’t ask for a more supportive and genuine friend! Does anyone know if they ever fixed the printer at A&M we may or may not have broken together?
Evan Wheeler - Brides-Man
I remember the first time I met Evan was on my 21st birthday, and from that point on, I decided that he would never miss being invited to any of my birthdays ever again. Evan is a true delight of a human being and one of the most thoughtful and caring people that I know. When he first met Blake at a Los Cucos half-price marg night, Blake had stepped away from the table, and Evan told me that Blake was good. I didn't realize it at the time, but I was waiting on Evan's stamp of approval before fully jumping in head-first with Blake. I'm so excited for Evan to be a part of this day and for his role in our lives!
Cheyenne Rodriguez - Bridesmaid
Cheyenne and I have been friends since the 5th grade, and she is an absolute light in my life. We tell everyone that we met when her mom brought her over while I was eating green beans, and our friendship was pretty much born after that. From making demos in our computer room for her mascot tryouts every year, Lego movies, and many trips to Camp Lone Star, she has been with me through it all. I'm so amazed by her dedication to The Lord and her service in full time ministry.
Emily Blacklock - Grooms-Woman
Emily has been by my side since Day 1 (literally), and she's not just a sister but the best one I could ever ask for. Together, we've shared countless adventures, from spontaneous travels to late-night ice cream runs and everything in between. Her unwavering support has been a constant pillar in my life, always ready to lend a hand whenever needed. Emily's talent for infusing joy into any gathering ensures that our wedding will be nothing short of spectacular.
Spencer Blacklock - Groomsman
A few years back, Spencer entered my life through my sister Emily's introduction. Since then, he's become an incredible brother-in-law, and we've shared countless memorable experiences together. Spencer's willingness to embrace any silly idea with wholehearted enthusiasm is truly remarkable. His infectious positivity never fails to uplift those around him, and I have no doubt he'll bring that same vibrant energy to our wedding day.
Spencer Gosmano - Groomsman
Spencer and I met back in the 1st grade and have got to experience many life events together. From lacrosse games, middle school sleepovers, Texas A&M football games, and being roommates. Spencer's knack for humor always adds joy to any situation; he's the friend who never fails to deliver the perfect joke, even if it takes a bit of searching. It's been a privilege to share so many memories with Spencer, and I have no doubt he'll bring his trademark humor to make the wedding day truly unforgettable.
Caleb Hardin - Groomsman
Caleb and I also met back in the 1st grade where we quickly hit it off as friends. We have got to connect at several Boy Scout campouts and events, Texas A&M football games, and being roommates as well. I can always count on Caleb to answer my various questions on basketball and sports and general (some questions better than others). He is a humorous friend that I have enjoyed having part of my life for the past 15+ years and will be a great addition to the wedding party.
Alex Stinnette - Musician
Alex is the brides one and only brother! He had a passion for music, and there was nobody else Emma could imagine being the person to play a song as she walks down the aisle.
Eric Stinnette - Officiant
$10 on him not making it through the ceremony without crying- Emma
