What to expect!
What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable while taking part in our special day. Because our wedding ceremony will be taking place outdoors on a grassy lawn, we recommend that you prepare for all types of weather. Dresses and shorts are welcome as it may be quite warm, however, we recommend packing a jacket or shawl in case there's a strong breeze or unexpected rain.
We would love for our guests to wear semi-formal attire to our ceremony, though we wish for your comfort above all else! Please select an outfit that you feel good in, we are just excited to have you spend this day with us! Don't forget to wear shoes you can dance in!
Can I bring a plus 1?
Juan and I are so excited to spend time with our guests, and we want to be able to spend time with each and every one of you! Our goal is to keep our wedding small and intimate, so we request that only those what received an invitation attend our wedding. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us!
Can I smoke on the property?
The venue is a smoke free property. However, you are welcome to smoke in the parking lot just outside of the venue.
Do you have a registry?
Please know that we do not expect any gifts for our wedding, as we are just grateful for your presence on our special day! We know that many of you are traveling a great distance to be with us, and so we ask for your presence only!
If you still wish to give us a gift, we gratefully ask that you consider donating whatever you would have spent on a gift to our "first house fund" so that we may start our life together on a strong foot financially.
Thank you again for all your generosity! We are so grateful for each and every one of you!
Before the big day

If you need to leave early for any reason that is no problem at all! Please catch us to say goodbye if you can!
The wedding day!

However, we encourage you to take lots of photos and videos of the rest of the event! We have a special photo challenge outlined on your table for you to do during the reception - we can't wait to see the photos you capture!
What happens after the ceremony?
After we say “I do,” we welcome you to join us for cocktail hour where we will serve select beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as light hors d’oeuvres. We will take our seats for dinner at 5:30.

What time does the reception end?
The reception will end at 11:00 pm, we would love for you to send us off on our new adventure as a married couple!
Travel & Things to do in Oregon!
Where should I stay?
We realize that most of you will be traveling in, and that some of you have never visited Oregon. In order to minimize your driving time, we recommend that you book your stay at the Independence hotel in Independence, Oregon. Another great option is the Holman Riverfront Hotel in Salem. Air BnBs are also available. See our "Travel" page for more details on hotels and transportation.
Do I need a car?
Oregon is a pretty large state, and there is some significant driving time between the airport and our wedding venue. We recommend renting a car, or carpooling with someone who has a vehicle for the greatest ease of getting around.
If you do not have access to a car, you can rent a ride using the Uber app.
What else can I do in Oregon?
First visit to Oregon? If you have extra time during your trip, we highly recommend visiting the Oregon coast (Lincoln city, Depot Bay, and Newport are great places to check out!), exploring the city of Portland, or taking a drive through some of the beautiful countrysides of west Salem, Dallas, or Monmouth. A short drive to Silverton is another great day trip for excellent hiking at Silver Falls park, or puttering around the cute little town of Silverton.
