We will be having a welcome party at Corner Point Brewing in Berwick (1 Sullivan Street, Berwick, Maine). Please join us there on Friday, June 13 from 6pm-8pm and drop in any time. There will be pub food and beer/wine/sodas available for purchase. We have the whole space until 8 pm to provide a spot for everyone, both local and from out of town, to get together before the wedding. There is no obligation to attend, just a spot to land with mutual friends for some chicken tenders (et.al) and a local beer!
We will be staying at the inn with our immediate family from Friday through Sunday and we have the whole house to ourselves. We encourage everyone to swing by, say hi, and enjoy the gardens, parlor rooms, and game room. We know many people are coming into town and we want to make sure to see as many people as we can throughout the weekend!
The inn will be open to guests to come visit on the morning of the wedding until 12pm. Parents will be able to come drop off their kids for babysitting starting at 2:30.
The children museum is located in the heart of Dover, a 7 minute drive from the Garrison Hotel. The museum is a part of the Henry Law Park on the Cocheco River. The outside of the museums has a large playground that is free to enter that is a great place to entertain the kids and get some outside time. Ticket prices are around $30 a person to enter the museum and there is a toy store/candy shoppe (Lickees and Chewies) just across the road.
Dover is an old town (as are most New England spots, of course) that hosts many quaint food spots, niche museums and dive bars. Most importantly, it is the town where the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were created. We want you to enjoy yourself and get a look into our lives when you travel to help us celebrate. So here are a list of some of the options you will find available to you in Dover!
The Woodman Museum
A funky little museum full of natural history, taxidermy, and weird little pieces of NH history all stuffed into an old New England house.
Garrison City Beerworks
A small brewery with outdoor patio seating, games, and yummy tacos to snack on.

Dover Delite
The go-to local ice cream spot
20 Chestnut St, Dover, NH 03820
Sonnys Tavern
One of our favorite spots to go for dinner and a drink. They have a creative cocktail menu, lots of local beers on tap, a great fried truffalo (buffalo and truffle) chicken sandwich and a cool atmosphere. Kids are welcome until 9 pm.
Thirsty Moose Taphouse
Pub food, lots of local beers on tap, sports on t.v., easy place for a bite.

Stalk
A fun, moderately fancy restaurant that serves as a great spot for an impromptu date night if you are coming with time to fill between wedding festivities. They also use lots of local meats and produce in their dishes, including food from the farm where Emma works!
Chapel and Main
A fun microbrewery with cool beer-hybrid cocktails and a killer grilled cheese sandwich and Shirley temple (according to Ocean).

Breakaway Cafe
A great coffee shop with lots of space, yummy bagel sandwiches and they often have live music in the mornings.

Hi-fi Burritos
Great burrito spot for a quick bite to take back to the hotel room, located right next to a package store (Smileys).
Hong Asian Noodle Bar
Our VERY favorite spot, and our go to for lazy Sunday dinners.
