In 2019, a freshman girl had a crush on a senior guy she thought was way too cool for her. Three years later, a lot had changed but Emmalea took a chance, despite Christopher living 4 hours away in another state. To her surprise, he had felt much the same way. It didn't take long for them to choose to date, and a month later Christopher had moved to Texas. The year that followed was the easiest, sweetest year of intentional growing in love. Choosing each other was easy and with the Lord's peace and our parent's blessing, Christopher asked Emmalea to marry him in October of 2023.
We are so grateful to our parents, who have been examples of faithful love in marriage, to our friends for honesty and overwhelming support, and for each one of you who is choosing to fly, drive, or take off work to celebrate us. For those who cannot make it, we love you and will miss you!
