Discover our favorite parts of Dallas!

Get some good coffee! DFW has some of the best selections of coffee shops, but we personally recommend Wayward, Native, Vita Coffee and Good Ole Boy Cafe!

If you're a foodie, Dallas has everything you could ever ask for, Hawaiian food to Ethiopian. We have yet to try everything, but Hawkers is the place to go for Asian street food, or Ten Ramen for the best ramen in the city. Roti Grill has some pretty great Indian food and Crush Craft for Thai. If you're looking for a date night out, our favorites are Sixty Vines and Il Bracco. For Mexican food, Taco Deli and Torchy's Tacos are our favorite casual spots. Some classic Dallas spots include Emporium Pies and Jenni's Ice cream, and if its your first time in Texas you of course have to give Whataburger and Waffle House a try (there may or may not be a house divided on these spots however), and of course - Buccees! The best "gas station" in the world- and there's one just 15 minutes from our venue!

Dallas may not boast a lot of pretty trees and mountains, but there is still so much to do. The Dallas Museum of Art is free of charge, and always a good option. The Perot museum is a staple if you love science- especially if you have kids. The JFK Museum is perfect for history lovers. If you have the free time, stop by "cow-town" in Fort Worth to see the stockyards to be fully immersed in Cowboy Central. If you have the money to spend, Reunion Tower has a gorgeous view of the Dallas skyline, and you have not experienced Dallas until you see it at night.

If you want to explore Dallas like a local, here are our inside tips. If you're a lover of all things weird and taxidermied like Emmalea, Dolly Python will be a kindred spirit. On the other hand, if you like mid-century modern-style antiques and unique decor, Lula B's is Emmalea and Christophers' favorite way to spend a Saturday. While you're in town, pop by Central Market, the world's best grocery store, we could walk around in there for hours and you just have to visit to see what we mean. Greenville Ave, Bishop Arts, and Oak Cliff are by far the best neighborhoods in Dallas, full of coffee, ice cream, and cool stores- park and walk around!

Finally- one of our favorites- White Rock Lake. While it may not be the prettiest lake in the world, a good sunset at the lake is an amazing way to end a Dallas day. We may be a little biased, as this is where we had our first date- and a year later got engaged. Theres a special dock, and you'll have to let us know if you find it.
