All who know us know that traveling is an integral part of our life together and as we started planning a wedding and how to celebrate with our closest friends and family, a trip only made sense. There is nothing that we would love more than to enjoy a trip with everyone we care most about. Please take some time to review information about the NCL Epic and each of the port cities.
All complimentary restaurants do not require a reservation, and a wait is rare with even the busiest cruises having no more than a 15-minute wait where you will receive a buzzer for when a table is ready for your party size. Conveniently, there are bars and live music playing outside of each restaurant in the evenings. NCL is unique in that you may dine at any time and with whomever you'd like. There is a station buffet, a 24-hour table and bar service Irish pub, an outdoor self-service restaurant, and room service available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The best quick "self-service" option in our opinion is the Great Outdoors Aft Deck 15 where you'll find fresh fruit and quick bites throughout the day. There's also a self-service soft serve ice cream machine here!
A seated breakfast option is available and features favorite American classics from avocado toast to breakfast burritos, eggs benedict, and eggs your way.
Dinner options include two 3-course white tablecloth venues in addition to the previously mentioned options. The dinner menu will change nightly for both of these restaurants, but always includes multiple fish, red meat, poultry, and vegetarian options. Upgraded dinner items such as an 8oz filet and lobster tail, ribeye, and premium seafood may be purchased at these restaurants for $15-$25 extra (the lobster tail and filet seen in photo 1 is Eric's favorite "hack" at a complimentary restaurant in place of using a full dining package at the steakhouse).
All staterooms come with at least 1 meal, called a dining package, at a specialty dining restaurant and extras may be purchased for a nominal fee. Our suggestion is to see how many your room comes with and then determine if you'd like to purchase any additional prior to cruising. The best restaurants to use a specialty dining package at are the Italian restaurant, the American steakhouse, the Brazilian steakhouse or the French restaurant. The sushi is relatively affordable to purchase, and the hibachi has a fixed cost that is less than the cost of a specialty dining package. The aforementioned restaurants, include 3 appetizers, an entrée, and 3 desserts per person using a specialty dining package which can total over $150 if you were to purchase a la carte.
Included in all stateroom purchases is at least 1 specialty dining package, 150 minutes of Starklink WIFI and the unlimited open bar package for all guests. The unlimited open bar package includes a wide variety of liquor, wine, 20+ beers and seltzers, and all soft drinks and juices. And no, this isn't your typical "well liquor". Grey Goose, Casamigos, JaJa, Patron Silver, Woodford Reserve, Johnnie Walker Black, Buffalo Trace, Tito's, Absolut, Tanqueray, and nearly every cordial you can think of is included just to name a few.
