What is the dress code?
Our dress code is semi-formal (e.g. dresses for women, dress shirts and suits for men). It may get hot, so wear what makes you comfortable!
Where will the ceremony and reception take place?
The ceremony and reception will both be held at our venue (please refer to your invitation for the address). The ceremony will take place outside while the reception will be inside.
How long is the wedding?
Our event will begin at 11 AM and end at 4 PM.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will start at 11 AM. Please plan to arrive by 10:30 AM to account for traffic and/or accidents. There are many one-lane roads leading up to the estate, so any accidents can back up the roads and cause delays (this happened to us during one of our visits).
Where do I park?
There is a parking lot on site. Upon entering the property, follow the driveway which will lead you there. When you enter the parking lot, the mansion is to the right.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Feel free to take pictures during the event. However, please be mindful of our hired photographers and videographers and do not block them.
Can I post pictures from the event on my social media?
Sure! We would love to see the pictures and videos you take. Make sure to tag us! #thekwanicles
What happens after the ceremony?
Immediately following the ceremony, we will take pictures with our families and bridal party around the estate. Guests will be escorted inside to enjoy hor d'oeuvres and drinks until lunch is served.
Are there local accommodations?
We recommend staying in Elk Grove or Sacramento. There are several Airbnbs and hotels in Elk Grove. For hotels, we suggest looking up Hampton Inn & Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, and Holiday Inn Express & Suites.
Is there anything else I should know?
We want our wedding to be small and intimate, so please do not bring extra guests (this includes pets, which are not allowed at the venue). If your name was on the invitation, we look forward to seeing you there!
