Emily and Eric’s story first began at a middle school. Emily was a science teacher and Eric taught orchestra. They met during a worldwide pandemic, but it did not deter these two from gravitating towards each other. After a few dates at Mi Cocina it did not take long for this couple to realize their deep feelings for chips, salsa, margaritas; and each other!

A shared passion with Emily and Eric’s story is travel! At first they started with trips to Fossil Rim, Austin and Las Vegas, but they took their passion to new levels. Fast forward through two summers, and they were fortunate enough to visit France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Hungary and Germany. They quickly learned there is a lot that can be learned about a person through travel. They also learned about the richness in culture from the world around them, and how much they enjoyed learning this culture with each other present. Overall, they loved being able to learn and grow from each other, no matter what challenges came their way.

In July of 2023, Eric asked Emily to marry him in front of Notre Dame. It was a beautiful moment in the city of Paris. They are very excited to celebrate with their friends and family this upcoming Summer 2024, and they look forward to more life adventures together!
