Pandemic Love

While the rest of the world was busy watching Tiger King and learning to bake sourdough bread, Erica and Eric (yes, hilariously similar names) were falling in love. Like the socially responsible citizens that they are, they spent their first date walking around outside at a park. This date went so well that the walk went on for five hours, leading Eric’s future mother-in-law to joke that “either things are going really well, or Erica’s been murdered.” Dark! The couple continued dating and falling for each other, until one day Eric decided to ask Erica to marry him. The plan was to romantically ask Erica in the very spot where they met, on a walk in the woods. However, Erica was really into baking, so much so that she suggested that Eric take her mom for a walk instead. After some time, Eric was able to get Erica out of the house long enough to give her a ring (after a dog first knocked it out of his hand) and the rest is history. Please join us in witnessing Erica Iceberg and Eric Ek become Erica and Eric Ek, and begin the rest of their lives together having people confuse their names.

Our Story

Located in Plymouth, The Inn at St. John's is a 4-star hotel in the historical district located within a 10-15 minute drive of plenty of shops and activities. The preferred airport for The Inn at St. John's is Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). Guestrooms feature refrigerators, flat-screen televisions, complimentary wireless and wired Internet access, and private bathrooms with complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Featured amenities include two restaurants, room service (during limited hours), a golf course, an indoor pool and spa tub, 24-hour business center, and express check-out. RV/bus/truck parking is available onsite. Continental breakfasts are available daily from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM for a fee. We have a block of 10 rooms starting the day before the wedding (2/4/21) and 15 rooms for the day of the wedding (2/5/21)! The rooms are only held in the block until JANUARY 19th!

Guestrooms include: air-conditioning, microwaves, MP3 docking stations, complimentary wired and wireless Internet access, 50-inch flat-screen televisions, private bathrooms with shower/tub combinations and complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. The preferred airport for Hilton Garden Inn Plymouth is Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). Featured amenities include an onsite restaurant, room service (during limited hours), an indoor pool, 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour business center, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite. To-go breakfasts are served on weekdays from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM and on weekends from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM for a fee.
