There are also a variety of Airbnbs and VRBOs. Other options include staying in other nearby cities including Sacramento or Auburn, which are approximately 1 hour away.

The nearest major airport is Sacramento International Airport (SMF), located approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Grass Valley by car.

Take CA- 20 WEST out of Grass Valley (towards Marysville ~12.5 miles)

Turn LEFT on Hamilton Smartsville Rd. LANDMARK Dollar General Store (& continue for ~9 miles)

Turn LEFT on Chuck Yeager Rd. (& continue ~1/2 a mile)

Turn LEFT onto Big Oak Valley Rd.

The 2nd gate on your right is 8600 Big Oak Valley Rd.

Directions from Sacramento Airport (~45 minutes)

From I-5 S take CA-99 N

Stay right to continue on CA-70 N

Take exit 18B towards Erle Rd.

At the end of the exit, turn Left onto Linhurst Ave, then at the first light turn RIGHT onto Erle Rd.

Turn LEFT onto Goldfields Parkway

Turn RIGHT onto North Bele Road

Turn LEFT at the first cross street onto Griffith Ave.

Turn RIGHT at first cross street onto Hamilton Smartsville Road (take this road for ~13 miles, passing the Beale Air Force Base)

Turn RIGHT onto Chuck Yeager Road (if you get to Hwy 20, you’ve gone too far!)

Turn LEFT onto Big Oak Valley Road

The 2nd gate on your right is 8600 Big Oak Valley Rd.
