Where is the wedding taking place?

Giuangano, Italy. Giungano is a town in the province of Salerno in the Campania region of south-western Italy (near the Amalfi Coast).

Where should we fly to?

We recommend flying to Rome. Not only is it cheaper than flying to Naples, but you can do a little site seeing while you are there!

If we fly to rome, how do we get to the venue?

There is a fast train from Rome to Naples that takes about an hour and tickets cost around $20. We recommend either renting a car in Naples or taking the train to the closest stop to the venue, Paestum.

Where should we stay?

We will be staying in Giungano from July 31-August 4. You are welcome to stay in the same town and book an Airbnb or hotel that works for you. You may also choose to stay elsewhere. Whatever works best for you.

Why do you we need to RSVP by February 1st?

Planning a European wedding has a lot of working parts. We require a lot of notice to work with our venue and vendors to make this all happen. We understand it is a big commitment and we respect whatever decision you make and truly appreciate your flexibility.

Are kids allowed for the events?

Our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We truly appreciate your understanding in this matter. We hope this doesn't cause too much inconvenience, and we're grateful for your support as we celebrate this special day.

Why aren't there many things on the Registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. As we embark on this incredible journey together, if you wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution towards our future would be sincerely appreciated.

Transportation

Below are a few travel recommendations for you. Typically, flights into Rome are cheaper than flying into Naples. Because of this, we have included transportation details for those who are flying into Rome. While the Naples airport is only an hour a half away from the venue, flights there tend to be hundreds of dollars more. We highly recommend renting a car in Naples and driving to the venue (make sure it's automatic unless you know how to drive manual!). Remember to also apply for your International Drivers Permit if you intend to do so. Transportation options near the villa are limited (and expensive) in this small town, particularly if you wish to explore the area during your stay. There is plenty of free, public parking in the area for you to park your rental car. For the day of the Wedding we will be providing transportation to and from the venue from a central location. Details to come. <a href="https://www.italia.it/en/campania/archaeological-park-of-paestum-and-velia" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Archaeological Park of Paestum</a>- Greek ruins in the town nearby the venue and Friday Beach Day location. <a href="https://pompeiiarchaeologicalpark.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Pompeii</a>- The ancient Roman city of Pompeii is around an hour drive from the Villa. The city was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD and is a fascinating look back into ancient life.
