Below are a few travel recommendations for you. Typically, flights into Rome are cheaper than flying into Naples. Because of this, we have included transportation details for those who are flying into Rome. While the Naples airport is only an hour a half away from the venue, flights there tend to be hundreds of dollars more.
We highly recommend renting a car in Naples and driving to the venue (make sure it's automatic unless you know how to drive manual!). Remember to also apply for your International Drivers Permit if you intend to do so. Transportation options near the villa are limited (and expensive) in this small town, particularly if you wish to explore the area during your stay. There is plenty of free, public parking in the area for you to park your rental car.
For the day of the Wedding we will be providing transportation to and from the venue from a central location. Details to come.
There is, however, train/bus routes that will drop you off at the center of Giungano, just a few blocks from Domus Laeta. For those routes, visit this website.
Landing in Rome
If you choose to fly into Rome, you can take a train to the Paestum train station. These train tickets usually only cost ~$20. From there, Paestum, Italy is only a 17-minute drive to our venue. If you go with this option, you can book a car service or call a taxi. Do not depend on ridesharing services such as Uber, as they are largely only available in Rome and Milan.
You can also choose to take a train from Rome into Naples. From there, you can book a car service or rent a car for more flexibility during your stay.
