You can expect the weather in January in St. Thomas to be from mid to upper 70's to low 80's!

We ask that you dress in cocktail/formal attire. Please avoid wearing white and no jeans please!

We understand not everyone will be able to make this trip. Please be sure to let us know as soon as you can.

We'd love your presence and your full attention to our wedding. This will be an unplugged wedding. We are asking no phones or photos to be taken during the ceremony. After the ceremony you are more than welcome to take photos!

Should you have any issues with booking travel/airfare, your hotel stay, etc, come to us! Please give one of us a call so we can help you with any issue you may be experiencing

We have worked hard to ensure you receive the best rates possible. If you do happen to find a more affordable option online, just let us know and we’ll see if we can get the same price. This allows us to include you with the rest of the guests, so you all get the same group benefits. ​

You do not need a passport! The Virgin Islands: St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix are all U.S. territories (and Puerto Rico!) and none of these destinations require a passport. But, if you want to do future exploring and traveling in the Caribbean, there are ferry's on St. Thomas that can take you to the British Virgin islands which you do need a passport for!

It is completely up to you on whether you would like to rent a car for your trip. The island has taxis and a safari bus as their means of transportation to go around the island. Erik and Haley will be providing transportation from the airport to the resort, from the resort to the wedding venue and back. If you feel you need a rental car please make those accommodations! An important note: The Virgin Islands (USVI) is the only place under United States jurisdiction where the rule of the road is to drive on the left.

Yes! The island has a dollar safari bus system. Safari buses are those fun/scary open-air taxis built onto the back of a pick-up truck. They are all independently-operated and there is no giant official schedule or rate system. But they pretty much operate with consistent routes and rates. For shorter distances the cost is $1 for longer distances around the island the cost is $2!

The island does have taxis. They do NOT have uber or lyft (something to keep in mind). If you plan to get around the island by taxi please make sure you bring cash as a majority of the taxis on the island only take cash.

Sunbeds on the beach or by the pool are complimentary for all in-house guests along with umbrellas which are available on a first come, first serve basis.

M&A Market is less than 1 mile away from the resort, it is next to the laundromat on the main road - by Puma Gas Station.

Yes, the resort will accommodate for all guests with earlier or late flights.

Yes, the entire property is equally accessible for wheelchairs. There are also a number of rooms available for wheelchair accessibility. Please let Haley know if you need this type of room arranged. Also, when you go to book add "wheelchair friendly" in the requests section when finalizing your booking online.

The majority of beaches do not have an admission fee. There are a few exceptions. On St. Thomas there is an admission fee at Magen's Bay. If you plan to island hop during your stay: St. John at Trunk Bay and on St. Croix the Buccaneer Resort charges beachgoers if they wish to park on the resort property when going to the beach.

St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas the currency is US dollar. (If planning to go) The British Virgin Islands official currency is also US dollar.

There is no sales tax in the USVI, however articles imported into the U.S. Virgin Islands for use or resale in a trade or business are subject to an excise tax.
