Q + A
Are children invited?
Although we cherish the little ones, the wedding event will be adults and 16+ only.
Is everyone invited to the welcome cocktail?
Yes! We are excited to see everyone and kick off our wedding experience!
Are there any salon recommendations?
Salon recommendations will be posted at a later date.
Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?
Yes, transportation will be provided for the wedding day.
Will your wedding be outdoors?
Our ceremony will be outdoors, and reception will be inside.
What is the weather like in El Salvador?
Plan for tropical weather. It is typically around mid 80s during the day and mid to high 60s at night. The wedding venue is at an elevation of 1650 meters (5413 ft), therefore it may get cooler at night on wedding day. You may want to bring a light sweater if you get cold easily.
Is El Salvador a safe place?
Yes. El Salvador has become a very safe place to travel, with lots of security put in place to protect citizens and tourists. Of course it is important to always exercise caution just like in any other city you may travel to.
How long should I book my flight for?
We plan to have 3 days of activities for our guests. Therefore you can book for as little as 4 days, arriving on Wednesday Nov 20th and leaving Nov 24th, or if you are also thinking of exploring the country more feel free to book for a longer stay. There are many things to do in the country from hiking one of the many volcanoes to exploring the beaches in La Libertad and taking surf lessons, checking out Lago de Coatepeque which is a beautiful crater lake west of San Salvador, or walk around the town of Suchitoto which is filled with lots of art and culture. These are just a few of many places to explore!
Will there be any U.S. events?
Yes, we are planning to have a US reception in the spring/summer of 2025 for those who cannot make it to our destination wedding. More details to come!
