Gerald R Ford Airport (GRR) is about twenty minutes from the church and about 50 minutes to Grand Haven. There are also plenty of rental cars available at GRR. Driving in is always an option too!
What is the dress code?
We are encouraging everyone to wear cocktail attire.
Do you have a hotel block for guests?
We have reserved a wedding block at the Holiday Inn Grand Haven- Muskegon, an IHG Hotel. It is listed under the travel tab to get our rate.
There are several condos/houses available for rent (Airbnb or VRBO) in the Grand Haven area within close proximity to the reception venue.
Are children invited to the reception?
We love your children, but due to space and menu restrictions we cannot accommodate guests under the age of 18, aside from those involved in the wedding party. We hope you can make this a fun date night!
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Please let us know of any dietary restrictions and we will work to accommodate. We will reach out to you individually if we are not able to.
What will the weather be like?
Early September in Grand Rapids/Grand Haven usually sees highs in the low 70's and lows in the 50's. It can vary widely, so please check the forecast before you leave.
Will parking be available at the reception?
There is parking available on the street near Porto Bello and limited free parking in the Porto Bello parking lot. There are several parking options in downtown Grand Haven, including 3-hour parking spots on Washington Avenue and free parking lots nearby.
Overnight permit holders can park in the easternmost sections of downtown parking lots.
Visitor parking permits are available for $5 per day at the kiosk at the corner of First and Franklin.
