The bridesmaids will be wearing the colour cabernet: dark red/purple. For female guests, please try to avoid wearing this colour to minimize confusion for our vendors and wedding guests.

Our recommendation is semi-formal attire and fall colours. Recommended colours are forest green, rustic orange, terracotta, navy, dark pink/purple, and brown. This is only a recommendation and an inspiration for those having difficulty selecting; please feel free to wear whatever colour you feel most comfortable in.

Yes, after dinner we will be having an open bar.

The wedding ceremony will be outdoors if the weather permits. Please bring coats or dress appropriately for the duration we will be outdoors. If it is raining, snowing or otherwise inappropriate weather for an outdoor ceremony, the wedding will be indoors at the same venue. The rest of the wedding, including the cocktail hour, dinner and dancing, will all be indoors.

We ask that everyone have their phones off and silenced for the ceremony. We want our guests to be present with us during this period. There will be ample opportunity to take photos & videos both before and after the ceremony. A photographer and videographer will be present during the ceremony to take any pictures or videos guests may want.

As most of our guests live in Guelph, we will not be reserving a hotel block. We recommend the Delta Hotel in Guelph as it is the closest to our venue (~ 5-minute drive).
