There is a block of cottages for the wedding guests that will expire end of August 2016, to allow the resort to fill unreserved rooms.

Wedding festivities will be taking place Saturday, February 25 & Sunday, February 26, 2017. We suggest arriving by Friday, February 24th to join in all the fun!! The rooms have been blocked from Friday, February 24, 2017 to Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Please feel free to extend your vacation before or after!! We will be!!

The Turtle Inn is an Eco Resort, which means there is no air-conditioning, television, or telephones in the rooms. They do have WiFi available on the property, however, Vince and I suggest enjoying the peaceful breezes and sounds of the waves. We have purposely planned this wedding in February in the hopes that Mother Nature will provide gorgeous sleeping weather! For those who like it a little cooler, fans are provided in each cottage.

Complimentary Kayaks, Water bikes, Sail boats, and Snorkel Gear are provided for Resort Guests. Paddle Boards are available for a fee. Beach and Pool Towels are provided for all guests and can be found throughout the property. Also, complimentary bikes are provided should you choose to take a nice bike ride into town for shopping or cocktails. If biking is not your style, The Turtle Inn has a complimentary van that will be more than happy to drop you off and pick you up!! My personal Belizean mode of transportation is by golf cart! The Turtle will be happy to reserve a golf cart for you through Captain Jak's Rentals, just bring your driver's license!

There are 3 restaurants on site. Auntie Luba's (Belizean Fare), La Mare (Italian cuisine), and Gaughin Grille (Local Caribbean Catch). A complimentary continental breakfast is available for all resort guests and includes locally made pastries, fruits, and your choice of yogurt and granola or an egg, and coffee. Your breakfast can be delivered to your room or you can sashay up to La Mare for your morning feast. Many other delicious breakfast options are available for purchase.

Cottages are set to sleep 2, max 3. If you are in need of a 2 bedroom, please let your reservationist know and they can look into reserving a Villa for you. We have not blocked any of the Villas for the wedding guests.

This is my absolute favorite place on Earth! The staff are the kindest, friendliest anywhere and will go above and beyond to make your vacation wonderful!! I'm sure you will fall in love with it the same way we have.

Chabil Mar is located just down the road from The Turtle Inn.

We have not set up a connection to the wedding with Chabil Mar, however, please feel free to contact them at your own accord should you like to look into alternate resort reservations.

Belize Ocean Club is a lovely resort located in Maya Beach, about 8 miles up the road from The Turtle Inn where the wedding festivities will be held.

Due to the distance, we do not advise taking a golf cart from Belize Ocean Club into town or to The Turtle. Belize Ocean club does have a complimentary van for guests and will be more than happy to drop you off or pick you up at The Turtle or bring you into Placencia Village.

Again, we do not have a room block set at Belize Ocean Club, however, should you like to contact them to book a reservation, please feel free!
