The Story of Us

2018: Erin's cousin Seamus really wanted Erin to drive over to the Marino household to visit some of our other cousins. Little did Erin know that in the basement of her aunt and uncles' house there was going to be a Dungeons and Dragons campaign hosted by none other than Matt Marino. Low and behold that was the first night Erin and Cody met!

2018-2019: Erin would go over periodically to Matt's Dungeons and Dragons night to help draw the game map. Erin was easily swayed because Cody supplied the beer if she showed up. We got to know each other a little better. One night, Erin said she really wanted to go clubbing in the city and the only person that stood up to go was Cody. After Erin saw Cody's sick dance moves they became really close friends. Going out to bars, mini golf, Walmart even.

2019: We both had a falling out, didn't really talk much afterwards. We both went separate ways.

November 2022: Cody texted Erin out of the blue to catch up. It wasn't until after Christmas we finally got together at Bailey's. Not going to lie, Erin did NOT recognize Cody with his manly beard. Since that night we realized that this was our second chance and did not want to waste it.

June 2023: Erin had moved in with Cody and the roomies at the time, then decided to get a place of our own. Found the perfect place and moved in October 6th, 2023.

November 26, 2023: Erin and Cody finally had their family over to their new apartment for an apartment warming party. After everyone had left, Cody helped Erin's dad out to the car with the chairs he brought. Erin did not know that at this moment Cody was asking Erin's dad, Kevin, if he would give his blessing for Cody to ask Erin for her hand in marriage; Kevin agreed (obviously). Later that night, Cody was asking his sister, Maddie, for idea's on how to propose. Cody asked Erin if she wanted to go to Peddler's Village around Christmas time to look at all the decorations. Erin shot that down immediately saying "It's too crowded and there's gonna be way to many people." In his head, Cody said what am I waiting for. He got down on one knee with his mothers ring in hand, right next to Erin who was at her computer desk browsing for new a new phone not even realizing he was on one knee for 1 minute. Erin turned around FINALLY, Cody asked the question and Erin joyfully said yes after saying "Are you serious!!!!" like 6 times.&nbsp;

December 2023: We adopted two little orange kitties, twins even! Calgary and Winnipeg.

Moira - Matron of Honor

Moira is Erin's cousin, only a year apart. They grew up together and saw each other as much as possible. They were like two peas in pod whenever they got together and always dancing at those Mayfair AC aka Blue House parties!&nbsp;

Gabs - Bridesmaid

Gab is Erin's one and only baby sister (even though Gabs is taller than Erin). Erin loved Gab even when she tried to steal her toys. They laugh about the absolute dumbest stuff and had way too many inside jokes that their mom had no idea what they were talking about.

Laura -  Bridesmaid

Erin met Laura in College, freshman year intro to Biology. She's the outdoorsy, bad ass, Jeep loving bestie. Whenever we're together it's always a hoot just like in the photo with the sticks. We found them while on our walk back to college from in town Chestnut Hill and decided to make a poorly constructed teepee on campus.

Jackie - Bridesmaid

Jackie and Erin also met in Freshman year Biology. We found out we went to rival all girls' high schools and started bonding over that! She is a fun loving, energetic, zero effs given bestie. Some of the stuff that fly's out of her mouth is just hysterical. It's never a bad time with her!

Groom's Crew

Madison - Best Person

After Cody moved, he met Madison his sophomore year of high school. Those two were so inseparable, practically like brother and sister. They are always there for one another no matter what. Whether it's for a good laugh or a good pick me up.

Joe - Groomsman 

Cody and Joe became besties in high school. Always getting in trouble and trying to bail each other out. Through thick and thin, from moving across the country from each other they have always been the best of friends. No matter what is going on in their lives, they always found a way back to each other and now they live 2 minutes apart.

Justin - Groomsman

Justin has been annoying Cody since he came out of the womb; Justin is Cody's only brother. Even though they are the complete opposite of one another, they always have time for one another whether it be at paintball or family game nights.

Jimmy - Groomsman

Jimmy and Cody met all thanks to Moira marrying the Irishman. From the first time they met the two of them always have a good cracking time whether it's at their local bar or game night hang outs. Their best memory was the ice cream date Jimmy took Cody on during their Philly excursion.
