November 26, 2023: Erin and Cody finally had their family over to their new apartment for an apartment warming party. After everyone had left, Cody helped Erin's dad out to the car with the chairs he brought. Erin did not know that at this moment Cody was asking Erin's dad, Kevin, if he would give his blessing for Cody to ask Erin for her hand in marriage; Kevin agreed (obviously). Later that night, Cody was asking his sister, Maddie, for idea's on how to propose. Cody asked Erin if she wanted to go to Peddler's Village around Christmas time to look at all the decorations. Erin shot that down immediately saying "It's too crowded and there's gonna be way to many people." In his head, Cody said what am I waiting for. He got down on one knee with his mothers ring in hand, right next to Erin who was at her computer desk browsing for new a new phone not even realizing he was on one knee for 1 minute. Erin turned around FINALLY, Cody asked the question and Erin joyfully said yes after saying "Are you serious!!!!" like 6 times.
