Q + A

How should I get there?

If you are planning on flying, we recommend flying into Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) which is about 30 minutes from Bigfork. You can also fly into Missoula (MSO) and rent a car to drive ~2 hours along Flathead Lake. If you are planning to drive, it will take ~8.5 hours from SLC.

Can I bring a plus one?

If your guest's name is listed on your wedding invitation and when you RSVP, then yes! We are hoping to keep our wedding intimate with close friends and family only, so we unfortunately will not be able to accommodate additional guests. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.

Are children invited?

While we love your children, we have elected for our wedding to be an adult only event. We hope you understand our decision. For those who need childcare, we recommend Field to Forest, https://field2forest.com/

Will there be transportation to and from the venue?

Yes! There will be a shuttle picking up and dropping off at the times/locations listed below. There is also parking at the venue should you elect to drive. Pick up @ 3:45PM Timbers Motel & 4:30PM Marina Cay. Drop off @ 9:30PM Timbers Motel & 10:30PM Garden Bar (after party)

How soon should I book lodging?

If you are planning on attending, we encourage you to book ASAP. This time of year is incredibly busy in the Flathead Valley and accommodations will book out quick. If you are in a pinch, please let us know and we can do our best to help!

Where are the ceremony and reception going to be?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Venue at MT 45. 6000 Montana Hwy 35, Bigfork, MT 59911

What is an example of semi formal attire?

Great question! For men, a button down shirt with slacks or dress pants +/- a sports coat (we know it will be warm) is perfect. Suits and ties are welcomed, but not required. For women, this would be a step-up from a sun dress, maxi and midi dresses are great, but we do not expect you to wear a formal gown. Please refer to the 'Dress Code Inspiration' tab for more details.

What will the weather be like?

Summer in Montana is truly magical, but the weather can also be a bit unpredictable. Typically, the end of June is 70-85 degrees and sunny, but we encourage our guests to keep an eye on the weather in the weeks leading up to the wedding. You may want to bring a sweater or light jacket for later in the evening as the celebration will be entirely outdoors.
