Due to the high demand this time of year in Bigfork, we unfortunately were not able to create a room block; however, Timbers Motel has graciously offered to allow our guests to book as early as July 1, 2024. If you are planning to stay at Timbers, we highly recommend reserving your room as soon as possible as they will fill up quickly.

Marina Cay is located centrally in downtown Bigfork. Please note that they do have a 4 night minimum stay while selecting your dates. We would highly recommend staying here!

There are many great options for Airbnb in and around Bigfork! We would recommend that you do not book a house further south than Woods Bay, and no further west than Bigfork.

We stayed in one of these sweet little cabins after taking our engagement photos and it was such a special place to stay. We want to note this is close to Glacier and will be a 30-40 minute drive to the venue, so it may be best suited for stays either before or after the wedding.

Everyone is welcome to join us for the Thursday night rodeo at the Blue Moon in Columbia Falls to kick off the wedding weekend! Taking place every Thursday night in the summer, this is one of our favorite things to do when we're in MT! You will need to purchase tickets in advance.

Glacier National Park is one of the most magical places to visit. Our favorite hikes are Grinnell Glacier, Iceberg Lake, Huckleberry Lookout, Hidden Lake, and the Highline. You will need a reservation to enter the park and they sell out quickly. Use the link below to secure your date and learn more about the vehicle reservation system.

Flathead Lake is the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi, so naturally our highest recommendation (okay, tied for first place with visiting Glacier National Park) is to get out there and enjoy the water! Use the link below for boat rentals in Bigfork.

Whitefish Lake Golf Course is one of the more beautiful public courses in Montana. This certainly would be worth the 30 minute drive from Bigfork to Whitefish. Lunch or dinner on the patio would make it the perfect day!

Spend a half or full day rafting in GNP in crystal clear glacial runoff. Jump off of the old bridge at the end!

Legacy Bike Park in Lakeside is one of our favorite places to ride when we don't want to pedal uphill.

Mountain Biking

The best fish tacos and margaritas on Flathead Lake! There is often live music and the most beautiful sunsets. Just south of Bigfork, a visit to the Raven either by car or boat is an absolute must!

The Garden Bar is an iconic spot in Bigfork with a large back patio, live music, and flowing drinks. We have a feeling this will become a central watering hole for the weekend!

For the women, a white or off white dress, skirt, or jumpsuit. For the men, a white button down shirt or polo with khaki pants or shorts.

Wedding Day 

We encourage our guests to wear 'Funky Florals'. The ceremony and reception will take place on the lawn, so we also suggest wearing a thicker heeled shoe.
