Is there a restroom near the ceremony location?
The closest restrooms are inside the coffee shop on the corner of 6th Ave and West 59th called Pret a Manger. You don’t need to purchase anything to use them, just ask the baristas for the bathroom code.
Help! I see two locations for Cop Cot on Google Maps?
Hopefully this isn't an issue anymore because we obsessively requested that Google fix this BUT... when you search “Cop Cot, Central Park” on Google Maps, you might see two different places. One is an imposter! The real Cop Cot is within Central Park. The easiest entrance to use is on the corner of 6th Ave and West 59th Street. This is the exact location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/rjtvotBp3bVF4inx5
Where do I park my car?
We recommend searching for a nearby parking garage. If you are staying at the Ace Hotel New York, you'll get a discounted rate at the parking garage near the hotel: SP+ Parking, 7 West 28th Street
How do I get from the ceremony to the reception venue by train?
We highly recommend taking the Subway as it's the fastest route to the venue, about 20 minutes. Take the R Train from the 5th Ave / 59th Street Station (located at the southeast corner of Central Park) and get off at 14th Street / Union Square. Home Studios is one block north of Union Square Park on the corner of Broadway and East 18th Street.
How do I get from the ceremony to the reception by Taxi?
If you'd prefer to take a taxi, there are usually lots of yellow cabs driving around Central Park South. Tell them the cross streets you're going to (Broadway and East 18th Street). Driving time will depend on traffic, typically between 20-40 minutes. Check before you go!
How do I get into the building for your reception?
When you get to the 873 Broadway door, use the call box to enter the Virtual Pin #887136 . You can also search the call box directory for Home Studios Inc, Studio 1 and/or Suite 301, then ring! The door will click open. Go down the hallway and up the elevator to the third floor. You'll be there right when the elevator door opens.
What is a cocktail reception?
Our reception will be a cocktail party with plenty of hors d'oeuvres and small bites instead of a formal sit down dinner. You will still leave with a happy belly!
What should I wear? What do you mean by "Creative Cocktail Attire"?
We kindly request cocktail attire (with a twist, if you're feeling bold). Check out the article below if you're looking for guidance on what "cocktail attire" means, then go forth and get a little creative with it. We would love for you to wear something that makes you shine. Don't be afraid to make a statement! Bright colors, bold patterns, and fun accessories are highly encouraged.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We LOVE the enthusiasm, but we would prefer to have an unplugged ceremony where all devices are silenced and put away. That means no photos, please, until after the ceremony has concluded. Thanks for understanding.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
We have locked in the best price for you at Ace Hotel New York. Check out the Accommodations page for more information.
Can I bring a plus one?
We are at capacity with our venues, which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests that are not on your wedding invitation. We really appreciate your understanding.
What if it rains?
If it's not coming down too hard, we'll still have it at the park. If it's really bad, we'll move it to the reception location. We will give you ample warning if that is the case.
