Q + A

Where is the venue?

Cedar Hills Farm 10152 Denali Trl, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379. A barn at the end of a long white driveway.

When should I arrive at the wedding?

Please be seated by 4:45 PM. If you are late, please wait in the parking lot. If the ceremony has started, join us for cocktail hour after it ends, if there are no empty seats in the back.

What is the venue like?

We will have an outdoor ceremony on the lawn and an indoor reception in the air-conditioned barn. Feel free to roam around the property after the ceremony and take pictures! Stay away from private residences, please!

When is the wedding over?

Our grand exit will be at about 9:45 pm; that is also when the music must be turned off per our venue contract. Guests will be asked to leave after the send-off unless they stay to help clean up (which is appriciated).

What about parking?

A gravel parking lot is directly behind the venue, so minimal walking is required. Please carpool and park correctly to maximize space! Parking spots are marked with wooden beams. We have designated spots for 80 cars, with the ability to add several more cars in various areas.

Wedding Dress Code?

You can wear dressy casual or semi-formal attire. Feel free to wear blues, yellows, and greens to match our theme! Whatever you wear to church should be fine! Being comfortable is best!

What are the wedding colors?

Blue, green, and yellow :)

What is the Private Rehersal dress code?

We want you to be comfy! Women: Casual Dresses (long or short) and Men: Khakis (shorts or pants) and church shirts.

Will there be food?

Yes! We will eat dinner after the ceremony! We will also serve snacks before dinner.

Will there be a gluten free option?

Yes, we will have gluten-free pasta, and fruit will be available.

Will there be alcohol?

No. Please do NOT bring alcohol. If alcohol is found on the premises without a bartender, we have to surrender the damage deposit and the event will be shut down.

Can we bring a gift to the wedding?

Yes! Gifts are greatly appreciated to help us get started living on our own! You can have a gift sent to our designated address on Amazon or edit it to be sent to your own address. The registry can be accessed even after the wedding!

When will RSVPs be sent out?

They have been sent! Please respond by April 30th so we can plan accordingly. If you don’t RSVP by this time, we will have to assume you and your party can’t attend.

Can I come to the wedding if I didn't RSVP?

If your RSVP was “yes,” then we have an assigned seat for you and your dinner order is confirmed. If you or a person in your party did not respond to the RSVP, we will not have a seat reserved for you.

Can I bring a plus one?

Sort of... ONLY IF they were explicitly invited on the invitation. Do not bring anyone who wasn’t explicitly listed in your party when you filled out your RSVP unless you texted Tori about it well ahead of time.

What if my kids are noisy?

We invited your kids for a reason! We love them and want them there. For intimate moments, such as the ceremony, we kindly request that if a meltdown occurs, you step aside briefly. Kid noises and energy are welcome throughout the day!

Is Smoking allowed?

Smoking is not permitted in the barn, around the barn, in the covered areas, in the courtyard, grassy areas, or brick patio areas. If you have to smoke, please do so in the gravel fence entryway only, away from all structures and grasses. Dispose of any cigarette butts, as these will count towards the clean-up fee.

I have more questions, who can I contact?

Please refrain from “spamming” the bride and groom, as they are the busy (and a bit stressed) planners and coordinators of this wedding. Try to ask a family member before asking the bride or groom, but please check the website first. If you are a parent of the Bride and Groom or a member of the bridal party, you have been emailed a Google Drive containing wedding logistics information, including a full-day timeline.
