Our story begins on Halloween weekend of 2018, where we met at a party at St. John’s University. Payton and her roommate, Julia, were dressed as salt and pepper shakers, and Ethan and his roommate, Dominick, were dressed as characters from The Outsiders. The girls challenged the boys to a competitive game of beer pong, and, after kicking his butt, Ethan was smitten by Payton. A few days later, Ethan asked Payton out on an ice cream date, and on December 20, 2018, he officially asked her to be his girlfriend at the Holidazzle festival! 

Flash forward to 2024 and now living in North Loop Minneapolis together, Ethan proposed to Payton on the Stone Arch Bridge on February 3, 2024! It only feels fitting to have gotten engaged and be getting married in the heart of the city we have loved to call our first home together.
