Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Go to the last tab on the right and RSVP online. We're not sending out RSVP cards in the mail. Saving paper!

What date should I RSVP by?

As soon as possible. We're trying to get a head count for the reception food, beverages, deserts, tables and chairs so we would love to know if you can make it to relieve some pressure from our planning. If you're on the fence, text/call Ethan and we can talk through logistics!

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Ceremony: Botanical Garden 1199 9th Ave, San Francisco, CA 94122 // Reception: Leon Event Hall 5051 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94112 // The Ceremony is NOT wheelchair accessible. Text/call Ethan at +1 415-370-8954 to go over planning if this affects you.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?

Ideally Uber/Lyft from your accommodation to the Ceremony or Reception venues. If you're driving, give yourself enough time to get to the locations because San Francisco is busy and traffic/parking are usually tough.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

For the ceremony, street parking in Golden Gate Park isn't great. If you're driving we recommend Music Concourse Underground Garage and park at the back so you're closer to the California Academy of Sciences exit (closest to the botanical garden entrance). Please note: Car break-ins are unfortunately common in San Francisco. To reduce your risk, please leave nothing of value in your car, either in the trunk or in plain sight. For the Reception, street parking should be fine around the venue.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Ceremony will be outdoors. Reception indoors.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from accommodations?

No shuttles will be provided.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Dress formal for the ceremony and semi-formal for the reception. The ceremony will be outside and on woodchips, so might want to wear flat shoes and/or platforms.

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?

you're good, wear your best stuff!

What is the weather like in the area?

it's hit and miss in SF! It can be sunny or foggy so please plan to bring a layer that compliments your beautiful outfit.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Unless it's listed in your invitation, please do not account for a plus one.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Definitely!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

TBD

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes! Please include these restrictions in your RSVP.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes!

Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?

Please see the registry tab on this website. We're encouraging cash donations that will go towards paying back some of the wedding fees and our honey moon.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Please text Ethan :)

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Please refer to your RSVP if you're invited to only the reception or both the ceremony and reception. The ceremony starts at 3:30PM (be there no later then 3:20PM) and Reception starts at 4:30PM

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

We recommend arriving 30min prior to the start of the event (3PM on 5/24). If you're there earlier, the 9th and Irving area has plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. We recommend having a Guinness at the Little Shamrock.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Ends at 11PM. No formal after party planned but if we still have energy there's bars around the reception venue.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

The ceremony starts at 3:30PM and ends at 4PM. Reception starts at 4:30PM. Expect bride/groom + families to arrive by 5PM

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in town for your wedding?

Check the Things to Do tab ;)

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Yes. We're hosting a picnic on Sunday 5/25, the day after the wedding. Please let us know in your RSVP if you want to come.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Absolutely! As long as you promise to share them with us so we can see what you were seeing. We just ask to please be mindful when taking pictures/videos so that you don't always have a phone in front of your face when the professional photographers are capturing moments. We want to have photo memories with your face in them!

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

For sure, go for it! Tag us in your posts and stories so we can repost.

What is your wedding hashtag?

#e&mjp2025

Will you be live streaming your wedding?

No. No plans as of yet.

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Reach out to Ethan :) +1 415-370-8954
