We love Atlanta! Although the venue is north of the city, we wanted to provide you with some of our favorite ATL spots in case you have time to spend in the city.
This is one of our favorite spots in the city. We have gone on plenty of walks, runs, bike rides, and picnics around Piedmont. It's fun to go to the area where the dog parks are and watch the dogs run around. There's a parking deck located off Monroe on the north side of the park.
We like to walk/bike to get bagels here on Saturdays. Heads up, it can get pretty crowded around 9-10 AM. The neighborhood around it (East Atlanta Village) has lots of places to explore and a bumping nightlife.
This place is a coffee shop AND a plant store. Caroline loves plants and Ethan loves coffee, so this is one of the first places we visited when we got engaged. We are also friends with the founders of the coffee shop!
This restaurant is right by our new apartment! They have a really good carne asada taco, and they also serve blue matcha lattes (whoa). The Beltline is right next to it, which is a fun walk/bike trail with lots of stores, restaurants, and art.
Yummy dinner spot with American, slighty-Southern inspired food. We love coming here for date nights! This is also on the Beltline and very close to Ponce City Market.
Great aquarium with tons of exhibits. It is the largest aquarium in the US and is actually home to a few whale sharks. If it happens to be your birthday, you can get in FREE. Also, Caroline's dad, Brian, volunteers here!
PCM has everything! There is a massive food hall inside along with plenty of shopping options. It was converted from an old Sears building. It is also right on a busy section of the Beltline with other spots to explore.
