Ethan and Carina met their junior year at The Master's University after Carina joined Ethan's intramural beach volleyball team. They bonded over a mutual interest in the Dodgers and began spending time together in a group setting during the week of the 2024 World Series. During the second half of the fall semester, both of them began having feelings for each other-- however Carina was not allowed to date at the time. Her parents allowed them to keep talking with the intention of dating after graduation, but God had other plans...

While visiting Los Angeles for our wedding, please feel free to explore the city! A great place to start is Griffith Observatory, where you can catch a beautiful sunset and a view of the Hollywood sign, or Santa Monica Pier and beach for that classic Southern California experience. Art lovers may enjoy The Getty Center, which offers free admission and stunning views, or LACMA and the famous Urban Light installation for a quick photo stop. If you want a true Hollywood experience, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour lets you walk real film sets, while downtown offers a fun half-day exploring Grand Central Market and riding the historic Angels Flight Railway nearby.For a relaxing outing, consider driving along the Pacific Coast Highway toward Malibu, stopping at scenic beaches along the way, or visiting Manhattan Beach for a quieter coastal walk and local cafés. You can also explore Olvera Street and the historic plaza for a glimpse of the city’s early California roots, colorful markets, and authentic food. We recommend planning just one main activity per day — LA traffic is real — and enjoying the rest of the time soaking in the sunshine and celebrating with us!
