We met the old-fashioned way.

Way back in 2016, Eva was a footloose and carefree immunologist and Ben was a lawyer with a fluffy new puppy. It may have been fate that caused them to both swipe right on each other, but it was surely kismet that Ben met Eva's height requirement.

Ben was immediately captivated by Eva's beautiful smile, skillful repartee, and superb baking skills. Eva was attracted to Ben's intelligence, generous spirit, and boyish good looks (remember, this was seven years ago!). Ben suspects that Mishka may have had something to do with it, too.

Ben knew Eva was a keeper when she answered his texts the day after he brought (some might say dragged) her on a summertime hike to Rachel Lake and the mosquitoes decided to feast on her and not him. Eva knew Ben was a keeper when he helped move old, heavy furniture out of her mom's house into a dumpster in the rain without complaining.

Over the years we've had many adventures, from Vancouver to Volcano, from Biggar to Bradley Beach and from Edinburgh to Eagan. But our home has been Seattle and we're so happy to welcome our friends and family here to celebrate our wedding!
