How Can I RSVP?

You'll receive an formal invitation in 2024 and you can RSVP at that time! However, if you plan to attend, we highly suggest starting to book accommodations and travel to lock in prices - most places offer full refunds through the end of this year and into early next.

What is the Dress Code?

Cocktail attire. We can't wait to see you all looking amazing in Greece! We've created vision boards to provide inspiration for your fits. Find boat day inspo at https://pin.it/7xTJrez0V and wedding day inspo at https://pin.it/6gi8Bx16t.

Where Should I Stay?

Santorini offers various accommodation options, from boutique hotels to villas and resorts. We recommend you stay close to Fira as that is where our shuttle pickup/drop-offs will be. Feel free to explore our "Travel" page for our recommendations.

How Do I Get to Santorini?

Most guests are traveling from Wisconsin or California. You can reach Santorini via Athens or other major European cities. Check for direct flights or convenient connections based on your location. Generally speaking, it will be the most cost-effective to find the cheapest direct flight to a major European city from your point of origin, and then book separate fares from that European city directly to Santorini. There is also a ferry from Athens, but we recommend flying in if possible -- it is a long ferry ride.

Transportation in Santorini?

Taxis, rental cars, and shuttles are available from Santorini Airport. We recommend booking transportation in advance from the airport with your hotel (most provide this service complimentary). A shuttle will be provided for both the welcome party and wedding. The shuttle will pick up and drop off at the Orama hotel.

When should I arrive?

We expect that most guests will use the weekend of June 1 to get to Santorini. While the welcome party is optional, if you wish to attend, you should plan to arrive on the island by the night of June 2. We encourage you to explore Greece (Santorini and beyond) and Europe before and/or after our wedding. We hope our wedding is a great excuse for you to enjoy a vacation :)

Do I Need a Visa to Travel to Greece?

NO! A travel visa is not required to travel to Greece until 2025. However, a valid passport is required. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date (November 2024). THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT!! EVAN MADE THIS MISTAKE ONCE WHEN GOING TO EUROPE!! CHECK YOUR PASSPORT!!

What is the weather like in Santorini in June?

June is a beautiful month to get married in Santorini. The weather is typically warm and sunny, with average temperatures in the mid-70s Fahrenheit. However, it is important to keep in mind that Santorini can be windy, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater.

Will There Be Pre-Wedding Events?

YES! We will be embarking on a cruise around Santorini the day prior to our wedding. SUNSCREEN IS A MUST!

What About Gifts?

Your presence is the best gift. You are travelling all the way to Greece to celebrate with us and we couldn't be more grateful! If you wish to give a gift, we appreciate contributions to our honeymoon fund.

Are Kids Welcome?

While we adore children, our wedding is an adult-only event.

Is There a Plan for Rain or Inclement Weather?

Our wedding venue has a contingency plan in case of rain or adverse weather conditions. We'll ensure your comfort and enjoyment.

Can I Attend Virtually If I Can't Make It in Person?

We will not be hosting a live stream. We will have a photographer and videographer at our wedding for post-event recaps. We will have small celebrations in CA and WI in the summer of 2024 as our Greece invite list is limited.

Will food allergies be accommodated?

Yes! You can provide us details on your allergy when you RSVP.
