This love story begins at Publix. Yes, Publix. Once upon a time, in the year of 2018, Ashley was in Conyers, Georgia. She decided to randomly stop inside of the Publix on Highway 138. This was her first time ever in this particular Publix but she needed a certain item. At the time, Fabian was working at Publix...that particular Publix. Ashley was completely lost inside of the Publix (although there were multiple signs above the aisles), so she decided to walk up to a random sales associate, which happened to be Fabian. As soon as they locked eyes with each other, it was as if time stopped for a brief moment. Ashley broke the staring contest and asked Fabian where she could find a particular item. Fabian, with his smart mouth, says umm...it is in this particular aisle, so I will walk you. He walks Ashley to the next aisle over.. (Fabian swears that Ashley just wanted to talk to him and made up something, but she pleads the fifth..) Anyway, after Ashley was escorted inches away to the product she asked for, Fabian decides to take a chance and smoothly ask for Ashley's name and phone number. Ashley takes hard to get route and tells him she will think about it. She continues to shop, but in some way finds her way back in Fabian's aisle, but acts as if she does not see him. Let us just say she was in Publix for a very long time. Finally, after preparing to leave, she slips him a piece of paper with her number and name on it.

Fabian calls when he gets off of work but Ashley does not answer. (What...she didn't get his call...for the first couple of days). Finally, she picks up his call on day four and they begin to talk. Their first date was at the Waffle House on 124 in Stone Mountain *our favorite couple absolutely loves Waffle House*. They had a second date at Stone Mountain Park where they fell in love with watching the fireworks...while fireworks built between them.

Fabian knew from the beginning stages that he wanted Ashley to be his wife as they grew deeper and deeper in love. When the time was right, he knew exactly how and when he wanted to ask the BIG question. So he planned on the day and kept it a huge secret from Ashley. He gathered his parents first and then her parents. He asked for his true loves hand in the most respectful way--by asking Ashley's Mom and Dad. Then he planned to pop the big question in the most unexpected, well thought out, and a HUGE surprise to Ashley plan. He had gathered his and her family on Sunday August 21st, 2022 (all as a surprise to her) asked for her hand in marriage and followed with a surprise engagement party! Without a shadow of a doubt, Ashley said a joyful and tearful YES! Well played, Fabian...Well played!

Fairy tales are stories that give hope and show true love. In the world we live in, we sometimes give up on fairy tales and fate because it looks like a fantasy and for day dreams. However, when the Lord has written for a journey to take place, it shall take place. This love story had been written even before they knew it. Although it may seem like a coincidence, their journey always led them to each other. In retrospect, Fabian and Ashley even believe now that it was love at first sight. Never lose hope and trust your intuition!! Love is a beautiful thing and when it comes to you, lead with your heart. And of course, the Lord is at the pinnacle of their relationship--from the very beginning, even before they became official. The love story of Fabian and Ashley continues to be written with more depth and passion as the days and years pass by. Their love for the Lord allows them to stand strong in all triumphs, tribulations, and challenges that may come their way.
