The dress code for our ceremony and reception is black tie preferred. We kindly request gentlemen wear a tuxedo or dark suit and ladies wear a full-length or tea-length gown. When deciding which shoes to wear, please note there is a short walk from our ceremony to the reception. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.

To ensure we can accommodate everyone comfortably, we ask that only those on your invitation attend. All invitees will be listed on the envelope. You may bring a guest only if your invitation includes “& Guest” next to your name. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm, we recommend guests arrive at 5:00pm to be seated.

If you are planning to stay at the Mills House or another location downtown, you should be able to walk or take a short Uber ride to all of our wedding-weekend destinations. If you plan to stay at one of the beach resorts in the area or another location outside of the downtown peninsula, we recommend renting a car.

If you are not staying at the Mills House, the best parking option for the day is the King & Queen Streets Garage, located at 85 Queen St. Another good option closer to the church but a bit further from the hotel is the Cumberland Garage, at 82 Cumberland St.
