Fatima and Peter met in the year of 2015. Through mutual friends and with the help of social media, Peter found the courage to reach out to Fatima. They both became instantly inseparable. From the constant phone calls till dawn, the good morning texts and even the occasional, let’s get an oil change together at Honda.

Fatima was preparing to go off to college in Massachusetts and a decision had to be made. Her and Peter decided that with the both being in two different places, they mutually decided to go their separate ways.

After many years, Fatima and Peter found themselves reconnected again. Even though so much time had passed, the two picked where they left off, almost instantly. There was something about this time around that felt different. Fatima explained to Peter that it was a mistake not trying all those years ago. Peter told Fatima, “You and I were different, we grew up, and from the second I saw you again, I knew it this wasn’t going to be the same let’s get back together.” So, they went for it and it was the best decision yet. It didn’t take either of them long to know that they wouldn’t want to spend any more time apart. So Peter asked and Fatima said yes.

“She said one thing, I said another and the next thing I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life in the middle of that conversation.”
