Faye and Nate met when they were assigned to teach swing dance together at their weekly dance venue in California. They soon bonded over their shared love of dancing, nature, and dunking on The Last Jedi. Despite their first date taking place under apocalyptic clouds of wildfire smoke, they saw in each other a kindred spirit and quickly fell in love. In their six years together they have endured a global pandemic, harsh Rochester winters, and The Rise of Skywalker. Some of their favorite things to do together are to birdwatch, travel for swing dance events, play board games, and watch movies together on the couch. Although their friends say they already act like an old married couple, Faye and Nate are brimming with excitement for their big day and can’t wait to share it with their closest friends and family.
