Only took 11 Years and 11 Months, but we're finally here! lol

We met in high school, my freshman year but his sophmore year. Geometry class to be exact. He was the smartypants who used to finish all his homework in class, UNTIL HE MET ME. I would talk his ear off in class to the point where he actually had homework to take home because I distracted him so much!

Well, obviously we hung out more, I gave him a silly nickname, found out one of his best friends lived right down the street from me, and then we spent the summer hanging out at said best friend's house.

The next year, I never saw him on campus. We didn't have any classes together and apparently hung out in different places so we just never ran into each other.

The year after that, he reaches out to me over FB IM, totally out of the blue, and asks me to Winter Formal. I say yes, but not right away because, so weird, I haven't seen him in a whole year?! But I do say yes and it becomes our first date (1/23/2010). Junior year for me, Senior year for him.

He graduates and goes away for college, but we talk EVERY NIGHT. He sends me roses for our first anniversary.

After I graduate, I follow him down to Sunny San Diego, and we've lived together ever since! Acquired 2 cat babies whom we love very much. Moved around a bunch. Finished school, started careers, and finally ready for our next chapter!

I got the ring for Christmas 2021, but not that day. Christmas was small and short this year, so unfortunately we didn't get to share the moment with anyone except my grandparents since we were staying with them.

Now we've had our 12th anniversary and 2022 is our year to be engaged!

Ready to be married 2023 and on.
