We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding with you in North Norfolk! To make things as easy as possible, we’ve put together some information. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Wedding Party

We highly recommend arriving in Norfolk on Friday, 25th July to enjoy the weekend, and because, in true chaotic fashion, we’ve scheduled our wedding on the first weekend of the school summer holidays (oops) and the same day as Norfolk’s inaugural Greasy Pole Competition (yes, that’s actually a thing). So, North Norfolk will be pumping. As a fairly rural area, taxis are limited, so it’s important to organize transport in advance to avoid any last-minute stress. If you need help or guidance, just give us a shout—we’re happy to assist! If you let us know where you're staying, we’ll also do our best to group people together to share cabs.

Getting to and from Norfolk

By Car

Driving is the easiest option—our venue is fairly rural , so having a car will make life much simpler.

BY TRAIN

- From London King’s Cross to King’s Lynn (approx. 2 hours)- From London Liverpool Street to Sheringham via Norwich (approx. 3 hours) (Both options require a taxi ride at the end, so book ahead)

Transport on the Wedding Day

Getting to the windmill

We recommend pre-booking a taxi from your accommodation to Cley (taxi details below). If you prefer to drive, free parking is available at Cley Village Car Park, a 5-minute walk from the Windmill. You can also leave your car here overnight if needed.

From our Ceremony to Reception

After the ceremony, we’ve got you covered—transport is arranged to take everyone from Cley to our reception venue in Wiveton (just a 5-minute drive).

Getting home

If you're drinking (and let’s be honest, you probably are), please pre-book a taxi back to your accommodation at 10.30pm.

Q + A

We can't wait to celebrate with you – your presence is truly the only present we need! But if you would like to give a little something, we’ve just bought our first home (!!!) and would be so grateful for any help making it feel like ours – and for a few memories from our honeymoon too. If you'd like to, you can contribute here. Florence & Angus Home and Honeymoon Contribution via Prezola
