Justin and Franki met in the Fall of 2017 when they moved into apartments across the hall from one another. They quickly progressed from neighbors to good friends. After several months, Justin decided to ask Franki on a date. She said yes and they spent the rest of that school year doing everything with one another.


Six months later, Justin graduated from Chico State and moved back to his hometown, Livermore. Justin and Franki exchanged turns visiting each other and eventually decided to move in together when Franki graduated from college. When Franki got into McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, the couple decided they would move to Sacramento and become roommates.


The couple moved to small apartment in Midtown Sacramento, Franki started law school, and then the pandemic hit. Justin and Franki made the decision to get a dog and move to a bigger place. A short time later, they got the most beautiful little golden retriever ever and moved to a house near the Sacramento Zoo. 


Life was going great. Franki graduated from law school and got a big girl job at a firm in Sacramento. After Franki passed the bar, Justin knew it was time to propose and planned a trip to Kona, Hawaii with his parents. About half way through the trip, Justin asked Franki to marry him and she said yes! The spent the rest of the trip celebrating with Franki's parents who flew in to surprise her.


Justin and Franki are looking forward to the next step in their journey together. We can't wait to celebrate one of the most important days of our lives with all our family and friends.
