Our story began in early 2014 through match.com.
We met up for a dinner at the Yard House and had great time talking as if we were old friends catching up. We had so much fun, we even met up the next day.

That day happened to be Serena's birthday and we spent many more hours talking at what’s now our favorite breakfast place, the Four Sisters Cafe. Even with 'clicking' so easily and having a great time with each other, we agreed to be just friends because neither of us were truly ready for a relationship.

It wasn't long before we became best friends. We met for dinner a few times a week, we talked and laughed late into many nights, or hit our local museum always, truly always, having fun.

After seeing us together, our family and friends tried to convince us to date each other. We can't tell you how many times we had to convince others that we were not dating. We weren't, but apparently everyone else saw something we weren't noticing. Even at restaurants! Each time someone asked us how long we'd been dating, we'd laugh and respond, Nope, we're just friends.

Until one day, a little after two years of being best friends, something... changed. Much to the joy of family and friends, and of course ourselves, since then we were no longer, just friends.
