This is more direct, but also more expensive.

Option 2 - Fly to St. Thomas (USVI). Airport code STT.

This is less direct, but much more affordable.

Sailing - Ferry your way to Tortola for your sailing charter.

Land - If you are staying on land, ferry your way to Tortola and then Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda. See below for Ferry services.

**Please reach out for more details on travel. We have found a very detailed travel guide online that walks through each of these options in depth.**

Accommodations

Sailing

Must RSVP for sailing BEFORE September 30th so we can book our boats!

The best way to visit the British Virgin Islands is by boat! The British Virgin Islands comprise around 60 tropical Caribbean islands, ranging in size from the largest, Tortola, being 20 km (12 mi) long and 5 km (3 mi) wide, to tiny uninhabited islets, altogether about 150 square kilometres (58 square miles) in extent. On many of these different islands there are beautiful beaches, restaurants, beach bars, and natural parks that we will be visiting along the way.

Sean will be coordinating the boat rentals as a group when we get final numbers. We have already booked two of the charters listed below, and we are waiting on responses from our guests to determine how many and which types of additional boats we are going to be chartering. If you would like to book your own charter with your family that is an option as well, but please work with Sean on coordinating because we can get a better discount with the more boats we charter.

Also we do have some of our guests, including Sean, that qualify as captains for the trip, so it will not be necessary to hire a captain to join your charter unless we decide we want to do so.

Please keep in mind that the charters will be paid for as a group, so when budgeting for this trip, please consider dividing the price listed for the boats by the number of people staying on board. Just for reference, the price per person per night for one of the charters we have booked, "What's Left," comes out to be $191.50. This includes the boat and all permitting, Insurance, and Cruising taxes. No Food, beverage, or other provisioning is included in this price.

Most bedrooms on the charters occupy two people, and have their own bathroom and shower. There are some rooms that have bunk beds, but this is minimal so you will have to share a bed with someone else unless there are bunk beds in your room.
