We politely request no children at the Wedding Ceremony & Reception. However, children are encouraged to attend the Backyard Bash and Post-Wedding Brunch. For our out-of-town guests looking for childcare options, we recommend Peace of Mind Nannies (hello@peaceofmindnannies.com) and Newport Nannies (info@newportnannies.com). Unfortunately, the booking website is broken, and does not currently recognize group codes. As such, to use our special code, you'll need to call the the corporate number 1-800-337-0550, or our sales rep Jon at 401-490-8105 and give them the code LSRP to book over the phone.

We are pleased to provide complimentary transportation to/from the Backyard Bash and to/from the Ceremony & Reception. All buses will depart from and return to the Hotel Providence. On Thursday night, buses will depart for the Backyard Bash at 5:15 pm sharp and will return to the hotel at 9:30 pm. On Friday night, buses will depart for the Ceremony & Reception at 5:15 pm sharp and return at 11:30 pm. For those who will make their own way to the event, Uber and Lyft are widely available in Providence and the surrounding area. However, it may be a long wait for those coming from other parts of Rhode Island, including Coventry and Warwick.

Summer in Rhode Island can be very hot! We encourage casual dress for the Backyard Bash and Brunch (shorts, casual dresses, etc.). For the Ceremony & Reception, our dress code is garden party chic - Think: maxi dresses, floral prints, linen pants, and panama hats. For the men, we suggest finding the happy medium between monkey suit and beach bum. At the end of the day, we want you to be comfortable, so please dress with the weather in mind!

We have a courtesy rate to book rooms at the Hotel Providence in downtown Providence. Rooms can booked by calling the corporate number 1-800-337-0550, or our sales rep Jon at 401-490-8105 and giving them the code LSRP. This code is valid on all stays between August 8 and August 11.

Warwick is close to both the Backyard Bash and Ceremony & Reception venue. It has a number of hotels, and good food options, and is a desirable alternative to Providence.
