Things to do

We have created a map with restaurants, bars, landmarks and etc to help you with your trip! click here to open it.

For those who come, we will be planning group activities for a full week leading to the wedding!

Rio is a big city, which offers a variety of attractions for all interests and budgets. In the South Zone of Rio—areas like Leblon, Ipanema, and Copacabana—where most tourists stay, getting around on foot is quite convenient. You'll find supermarkets, pharmacies, bars, and restaurants easily accessible. Locals, known as 'cariocas,' also enjoy strolling along the beaches.

We recommend using the Uber app as they are generally inexpensive in Rio. Note that taxis may not always accept card payments and it’s best to avoid walking on the streets after dark.

Ipanema beach

August is usually a great season to go to the beach, being usually less rainy than usual and with temperatures varying from 20-25 °C. The closest beach to us is the Ipanema beach, but there are many others such as: Leblon, Barra, Prainha and Joatinga.

Attention: Be careful with your belongings, have someone look at them when you go inside the ocean.
