**UPDATE: Shuttle will be running for guest transportation to the ceremony location beginning around 1pm. The shuttle will make 2 stops on each run - 1 stop at Aloft Hotel & 1 stop at The Trade Hotel to accommodate guests staying at both locations.
Following the ceremony, the shuttle will immediately begin making trips back to Deer District to drop guests off at the in-between location, Deer Camp. Please help the bus driver make these trips as quick as possible, as this bus will need to return to the church to pick up the wedding party for pictures. Families of the bride & groom are asked to briefly remain at the church for family pictures prior to departing on the last run of the shuttle.
What should we do in between the ceremony & reception?
Families of the bride & groom invite those interested to join them at Deer Camp MKE in-between the ceremony & reception. There will be drinks & some light hors d'oeuvres served.
Deer Camp is located a quick 4 minute walk from our reception venue, Gather. Please see below for the easiest directions to assist you in getting from Deer Camp to Gather when it's time for the reception!
Gather shares a building with a few other bars & restaurants including Mecca Sports Bar & Grill, Good City Brewing, & Fat Tuesday. If you see advertising for these locations, you are in the right spot (:
The Gather signage is a little less loud than those around it, so please see photo below for assistance in finding the front entrance.
PARKING AT THE RECEPTION VENUE
Unfortunately, there is no immediate parking access/lot at our reception venue; however, Deer District/Fiserv Forum have various parking garages within 1 block (see below). Please be aware - there is a concert at Fiserv Forum the night of our wedding, making parking prices higher. There are various other pay-to-park locations nearby that will be cheaper than those associated with Fiserv Forum.
Most of our guests will be traveling in from out of town & staying in nearby hotels. We recommend these guests leave your vehicle at the hotel & walk across the street to the venue, or Uber to the venue if staying a few miles away. This way no one has to worry about their vehicles & driving at the end of the night! The bar will be open & we want everyone to stay safe!!
For those guests not staying in nearby hotels, there are a few pay-to-park garages nearby. See below for the two closest options:
