Q + A

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Our dress code is Black Tie! This means to wear your most formal outfit (suit and tie, long dresses/jumpsuits). Please no jeans, short dresses/skirts or khakis - dress your best! We ask that all guests wear black attire.

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?

We ask that all guests wear black formal attire to fit the vibe for the night.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour prior to plated dinner salad and entrée, plus dessert! We will also have a late-night snack for all the party animals! The bar is on us!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

To keep this an intimate affair, our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Can I bring my children?

We have included all invited children on your RSVP. While we love everyone's little ones, this is an adult-only party outside of invited family members.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start. We will not allow entrance after the procession begins.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

There is parking at the hotel - you can either valet or self-park in the garage. Street parking is limited.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

All events will take place indoors at the same venue!

Where should I stay?

We have a discounted room block at a few hotels. We highly recommend staying at the Seelbach so you can fully enjoy the night and take the elevator home!

What is the weather like in the area?

Louisville is typically pretty mild in the fall - around 65-75 degrees during the day. Check the weather before you come as temps can take a dip at any time!

What should I do in Louisville during our trip?

Check out the "Things to Do" page! We included a ton of our favorite places. If you are wanting to do any bourbon tours, we recommend booking at least a month in advance!

Should I bring a gift?

Your gift to us is your attendance at the wedding! If you feel obligated to bring a gift, our registry is listed on the website - we are trying to live a clutter free life, so if it is not listed, we likely do not need it and would prefer a contribution to our travel adventures or favorite non-profit!
