Gail and Zac went on their first date together! This included walking Gail's 4 month year old puppy Kolt and extended to grabbing some nachos at Canadian Brewhouse. Gail always gives Zac a hard time to this day that he didn't allow her to finish the Nachos (even though the restaurant was closing).

Gail and Zac officially became a couple after multiple dates and frisbee games. Shortly after meeting each other both Zac and Gail were introduced to each others family's in random ways. Zac met Gail's family doing landscaping work at her sister Julie's house, while Gail met Zac's parents outside Ikea in the pouring rain! Due to the covid pandemic implementing strict lockdown restrictions, Gail slowly began accumulating more things at Zac's house. She ended up spending a lot of time there to comply with the restrictions in place.

After only a few months of dating, Zac was offered a new position with his company that included working a significant amount of time on the road in northern Ontario (Pickle Lake!). Although it was not ideal, Gail was in full support of the career promotion and threw a party to celebrate with Zac's family and close friends. Zac suggested that Gail move in full time to take care of the house while he was away and due to the Covid lockdown rules. She was able to continue focusing on her studies while Zac was away.

Gail officially graduated from Brandon University Completing her Bachelors of Science in Psychiatric Nursing! Gail started working as a nurse right away at Selkirk Mental Health Centre.

Gail was determined to run the 10k race at the Manitoba. Due to this, Zac was "voluntold" that he had to join! The two of them had a lot of fun training together and plan on doing more runs/challenges together in the future.

Most of 2021 and early 2022 was spent at home due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Many nights were filled with watching movies, playing catan, and cooking dinner together. When the restrictions were lifted, Zac and Gail were finally able to start socializing with family and friends in person. They attended many events together such as weddings, birthday parties, and group get togethers.

Gail and Zac hosted their first "Cousin Christmas" with Gail's family. This is now a tradition that we look forward to every year!

We celebrated Gail's 29th and Kolt's 3rd birthdays together with family and friends!

Gail and Zac travelled to Europe for one of Zac's best friends wedding. They spent time exploring Spain, France, The UK, and Ireland with family and friends! This was our first big vacation together!

Gail threw a surprise 30th birthday party for Zac with close friends and family! This included a trip to one of their favorite places for group activities, Activate!

Gail and Zac made their big first purchase together - a new car!

Gail and Zac got engaged together at their home in Winnipeg before a weekend spent with family for Thanksgiving! Gail was very surprised!

Gail and Zac played in a co-ed rec volleyball league along with Gail's cousins and close friends. Zac also joined Gail's cousin Katheryne in a competitive co-ed league on Sunday's and unfortunately lost in the final.

Zac threw Gail a surprise 30th birthday party with family and friends. This included a private dinner party at The Merchant Kitchen followed by drinks and games at their house after!

Gail and Zac spent the winter/spring attending many Jets games, wedding socials, and started to plan their own wedding social!

Gail and Zac travelled to Portugal along with Julie, Kaitlyne, and Jimmy to attend the Taylor Swift Era's concert! While we were there for two weeks, we explored different parts of Portugal including a few beaches!

Gail and Zac hosted their wedding social in Winnipeg. Many family members and friends attended, almost 450 people in total! We had a lot of fun throwing the event and hope that everyone attended enjoyed the food, drinks and prizes if you were lucky enough to be a winner!

Gail and Zac made a quick weekend trip to Vancouver to see one of Zac's favorite DJ's - Kygo! Although the visit was short, we were still able to visit many of Gail's cousins.
