Kardy and Zac have been best friends since they met in Kindergarten. No matter what they are doing in their lives or where they are located, they always make time for their weekly phone calls to check in with each other to see what one another is up to this week. Kardy always seems to be on a crazy adventure or is in the process of planning one - surfing in Portugal, rafting down the grand canyon, getting a tattoo (likely a dinosaur) with Archie from Riverdale, or travelling to Japan. Home for Kardy is now Prince George BC working as an Emergency Doctor however each summer they always meet for a weekend at the cabin in Sandy Lake to hang out and reconnect.

Julie is Gail’s sister and Maid of Honour. Gail has always looked up to Julie as her ultimate role model. What Julie did, Gail did. Julie and Gail have been on many adventures around the world together but one of the best adventures was moving in together in 2016. Gail was happy just sitting in her sister’s room watching her play video games, watching scary movies or grabbing a soul reviving bowl of Pho. Julie has travelled to Japan many times and has even brought Gail with her. If you ever need a travel guide or help navigating the train systems in Japan, she is your girl. These days, Gail, Zac, and Julie hang out all the time. Together they travelled to Portugal this past year for a Taylor Swift concert! Gail feels very lucky to have the such a caring, smart and fun sister like Julie.

Kaitlyne is one of Gail’s first best friends (and cousin!). Growing up they always knew they could lean on each other for anything going on in their lives. Endless sleepovers, cruising down Lagimodiere crying to One Direction, going to Union, and celebrating every accomplishment on the way. One thing about Kaitlyne is that she will do anything for her cousins. Kaitlyne is a proud momma to a goldendoodle named Tobi. She had a beautiful wedding this past summer in Vancouver to her husband Jimmy.

Tanner and the Yeroschak family moved to Hamiota in Zac's Grade 11 year from the rival sports town - Souris Manitoba. Tanner and Zac quickly became close friends because they previously knew each other through high school parties and mutual friends. The two of them worked summer jobs together shingling houses all over western Manitoba. Tanner married Zac's sister Ashley and easily filled the role as the brother that Zac never had growing up. They spend time hanging out frequently in either Winnipeg or Beausejour where they now live hot tubing, watching sports, or completing random "projects".

One of Gail’s closest cousins and fellow middle child. Katheryne is set to join the nursing club in a couple years. Go Kat! Also fun fact - she is an amazing singer! Gail and Katheryne can just look at each other and burst into laughter. There is never a boring moment together. Kat is always down for hotpot and shares Gail’s love for anything purchase from Target. Kat usually asks Gail to make chocolate chip cookies, sans chocolate chips which Gail will happily snack on so they don’t go to waste! =)

Chantal and Gail have known each other since Grade 4 and have maintained their friendship ever since. Chantal has the cutest Bernese Mountain dog named Pim. Every friend group needs a decisive person in it to get the ball rolling when no one knows what to do next. Thank goodness Chantal is that person! Fun fact - Gail had her first friend sleepover with Chantal! Chantal is the first in Gail’s friend group to be married and by the time Gail's wedding rolls around, Chantal will have welcomed her first baby.

Chad is from Souris Manitoba and often crossed paths with Zac in high school playing sports throughout the years. The two of them linked up years later when they found out they were going to Thunder Bay Ontario for Engineering at Lakehead University. Since then, they have tackled many challenges together and formed a strong bond. They are always together doing things in the city like going to jets games, smoking meats on sunny days in the summer, and cheering on the bombers. Upon graduation, the two of them have followed one another working at two different companies, and now live only 5 minutes from each other in Winnipeg. He and Adrienne are proud parents to their son Connor.

Taylor and Gail first hung out together at Kylan’s 10th birthday party at Gym Kids. They instantly bonded after completely wiping out right after each other on the vault. Who knew being so uncoordinated would lead to a such a lasting friendship? During university, Gail and Taylor would drive around trying to find somewhere new to hang out. Somehow, they always ended up at IQs at U of M. Gail and Taylor still live minutes away from each other today. These days fun together includes trying new food, travelling, and attempting bootcamps in the park. Taylor and her husband also play on Gail’s family volleyball team and are both considered honourary cousins.

Ivanna and Gail met in elementary school but became best friends in Grade 10. They started talking and never looked back. Back in the day - Gail had a 1000 text message limit per month and used most of it just to text with Ivanna, even counting each message per day to make sure she didn’t go over her limit. Ivanna has always been there for Gail no matter what. Gail and Ivanna both worked at Target together (RIP Target Canada). Fun fact - Ivanna is a drummer and used to play in a band! She lives in Saskatoon now and they seldom see each other but their friendship always picks up right where they left off.

Brad and Zac met while attending college in Brandon Manitoba. He often showed up at the "428" parties and when his apartment lease expired he moved in with Kardy, Sarah and Zac. Since that day 12 years ago, Brad and Zac always make and effort to be in each others lives. Often talking on the phone multiple times a week, and the annual trip to Manitoba each summer to visit. Brad and Zac went to 5 consecutive EDM festivals together each summer in Calgary. They often share each others favorite EDM music back and forth whenever a new song is released. Brad now lives in Calgary and works for the Law Society of Alberta in their Accounting Department. He is the proud dad to his dog Cooper.

Kylan was Gail’s first friend at Shamrock Elementary School and one of Gail’s longest friends. Gail and Kylan spent countless nights building Piczo websites, making fictional characters, and laughing till they cried. Gail went on her first Europe trip with Kylan, Chantal, and Taylor along with Kylan’s parents in 2011. One thing about Kylan is that she makes the best jingles, puns, and creative hashtags.....#gacforever might not be the best one but we might roll with it.

Steph and Gail met in high school and became very close after attending camp together and have been besties ever since. One fun fact is that they both have a *slight* obsession with Twilight and will watch the series every chance they get #TeamCarlisle. Steph loves to try new restaurants, go for cocktails, or just loaf on the couch eating sushi and watching Harry Potter. Another unique skill about Steph is that she used to do traditional Thai dancing!

Zac and Jeremy haven't known each other as long however their friendship has flourished effortlessly over the years. They have conversations often and check in to make sure everything is good in life. Jeremy always makes an effort to get together for holidays or the casual night out grabbing a drink and dinner somewhere in the city. After working as an Autocad Draft Technician for a few years, Jeremy decided to change career paths and follow his passion to become an entrepreneur. Jeremy is now the proud owner of his start up business Upscale Detailing Studio in Winnipeg. He is often found driving around Winnipeg in fancy G-Wagon's or Porsche sports cars!

Ashley is Zac’s younger sister. Gail and Ashley are both nurses and worked at the same hospital but never met each other prior to meeting Zac. Eventually they even ended up on the same unit! They have both moved on and work elsewhere. Now they are able to spend holidays and weekends together! Ashley has always been very welcoming to Gail and has become a wonderful friend. They’ve had many game nights, dinners and shopping excursions together. Ashley has two little pups named Molly and Sawyer who Gail loves to cuddle and play with. Gail is excited to gain a new sister by getting married to Zac.

Sandra and Gail have been friends since high school. Being one of the few Filipino kids at J.H. Bruns Collegiate they instantly connected. Sandra is also a fellow nurse working with kids. She is one of the most thoughtful and caring people Gail knows. At parties, you might find her cleaning up and doing dishes at the end of the night. Sandra is a lover of food, spin class, and travel. Getting food with Sandra is always fun as she always down to try anything.
