Hi friends and family — we’re so excited to share a little bit about how our journey began and how we got to where we are now. It's been a long road (we met as teenagers!), but one filled with love, growth, and the kind of bond that’s only gotten stronger over time.

We first met when we were just 15, through a mutual friend. The first time we hung out, I was certain he didn’t like me. He seemed kind of mean — always teasing me in this playful-but-annoying kind of way. But little did I know, that was actually his way of showing interest. According to Tim, when you like someone… you tease them. (Makes sense now — but at the time, not so much!)

Not long after that first hangout, Tim sent me a message on Facebook. That one simple conversation sparked something real, and before we knew it, we were talking every day.

Our first date was at the mall — nothing extravagant, just two teenagers wandering, talking, laughing, and having a genuinely great time together. It felt easy and natural, even from the beginning. Looking back, we didn’t know it then, but that was the start of something really special.

Over the years, we’ve been through a lot together. We’ve grown up side by side — through high school, young adulthood, and all the unpredictable twists life brings. There were challenges, moments of distance, and seasons where we had to grow separately before we could grow together again.

But through it all, we’ve always found our way back to each other.

There’s always been something about us — a quiet gravity, a deep connection that never really faded, no matter what was happening around us. We’ve seen each other at our best and at our worst, and we’ve learned how to love each other through every version of who we’ve become.

What we have now is more than just young love — it’s a partnership built on trust, patience, laughter, and an unshakable friendship. We know each other in the deepest ways, and even after all these years, we still choose each other. Every single time.

We’re so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years, and we can’t wait to start this next chapter of our lives — together, as husband and wife.

Hola familia y amigos — estamos muy emocionados de compartir con ustedes un pedacito de nuestra historia: cómo comenzó y cómo hemos llegado hasta aquí. Ha sido un camino largo (¡nos conocimos cuando teníamos solo 15 años!), lleno de amor, crecimiento y una conexión que no ha hecho más que fortalecerse con el tiempo.

Nos conocimos a través de un amigo en común. La primera vez que salimos los tres juntos, Yo estaba segura de que a Tim no le caía bien. Él se la pasaba molestándome y parecía medio pesado — como si fuera un poco “cruel” en broma. Lo que yo no sabía en ese momento es que, según Tim, así es como se trata a alguien que te gusta. (Ahora tiene sentido... pero en ese momento, no tanto.)

Poco después de ese primer encuentro, Tim me escribió un mensaje por Facebook. Una conversación sencilla, que sin darnos cuenta, fue el inicio de todo. Comenzamos a hablar más, y poco a poco, nació una conexión especial.

Nuestra primera cita fue en el centro comercial. Nada lujoso — solo dos adolescentes caminando, riendo, conversando y disfrutando el uno del otro. Todo se sintió muy natural y auténtico desde el principio. Ahora, al mirar atrás, entendemos que ese día marcó el comienzo de algo muy especial.

A lo largo de los años, hemos vivido muchas cosas juntos. Hemos crecido lado a lado — durante la adolescencia, la juventud, y todas las etapas inesperadas que la vida trae. Hubo desafíos, momentos de distancia, y temporadas en las que necesitábamos crecer por separado antes de poder volver a crecer juntos.

Pero a pesar de todo, siempre volvimos a encontrarnos.

Siempre ha existido algo entre nosotros — una especie de gravedad tranquila, una conexión profunda que nunca desapareció, sin importar lo que estuviera pasando alrededor. Nos hemos visto en nuestras mejores y peores versiones, y hemos aprendido a amarnos en todas las formas posibles.

Lo que tenemos ahora va más allá del amor de juventud — es una verdadera sociedad basada en la confianza, la paciencia, las risas y una amistad inquebrantable. Nos conocemos en lo más profundo, y después de todos estos años, seguimos eligiéndonos. Una y otra vez.

Estamos muy agradecidos por todo el amor y apoyo que nos han brindado a lo largo de los años, y no podemos esperar a comenzar este nuevo capítulo de nuestras vidas — juntos, como esposos.
