Walking the Brooklyn Bridge is one of the most popular and iconic things to do in New York City.
It is estimated that nearly 4,000-10,000 people walk the Brooklyn Bridge per day! The Brooklyn Bridge is 1.134 miles but the entrances for the Brooklyn Bridge pedestrian walkway are approximately 1.6 miles apart. Though only a little over 1.5 miles, with crowds and photo and view stops along the way you can expect walking the Brooklyn Bridge to take closer to 60 minutes+ depending entirely on you and your stops as well as the crowds.
For more than 150 years, visitors have flocked to Central Park's 843 green acres in the heart of Manhattan. Since 1980, the Park has been managed by the Central Park Conservancy, in partnership with the public. Central Park is open 6 am to 1 am daily. There are some cute restaurants and bars within the park too that make great pit stops!
